The average shoe size of a National Basketball Association (NBA) player is 14.81. In 2013, when the data was collected, the largest player shoe size was a 20, and the smallest was a 10.

On their website, the NBA states that Bob Lanier, the top overall pick in 1970, held the record for the highest shoe size, 22. Both Alton Lister and Shaquille O’Neal wear shoes with a size 22. On the other hand, Isaiah Thomas and Paul George wear size 12 shoes. According to reports, one of Michael Jordan’s sneakers was a size 13 and the other was a size 13.5.

SLAM Magazine maintains a list of NBA players’ shoe sizes. According to the website’s 2013 statistics, Nate Robinson wore the smallest shoe size, a 10.5, while JaVale McGee, Brook Lopez, and Robin Lopez all wore a size 20. In addition, it compares the shoe sizes of the largest and smallest teams. The average shoe size of the Oklahoma City Thunder was 15.43, whereas that of the San Antonio Spurs was 13.97. Nike is the most popular shoe worn by players, according to SLAM Magazine, which also provides information on players who switched shoe brands during the season, the brands worn by rookies, and other shoe-related facts.
