The length of a pickup truck varies depending on the style and manufacturer, but according to GMC, a typical classic pickup is roughly 17 feet long. Longer and shorter cabs and boxes are available.

The total length of a GMC truck with a conventional cab but a long bed is more than 18 1/2 feet. A truck with a normal bed and a double cab is somewhat longer than 19 feet. A pickup with a larger crew cab and a normal box is approximately 20 feet long. The overall length of a truck with a crew cab and a short box, on the other hand, is little more than 19 feet.
