The nervous game is a two-person game in which one person stands by their sides with their hands by their sides while the other touches a portion of their body and asks, “Are you nervous yet?” Even when the other person touches personal parts of the body, the purpose of the game is to avoid exhibiting uneasiness.

This game is usually played by teenagers and older children. Although it is referred to as a game, others argue that it is essentially a kind of sexual harassment because the “toucher’s” goal is to go as near to touching the other player’s genitals as possible before being stopped.

Many teenagers succumb to peer pressure and allow their genitals to be stroked in order to gain social status among their game-playing mates. This can make the players feel ashamed or guilty for allowing their peers to touch them in such a way, especially in public.

According to studies, youngsters who employ sexually harassing practises against their peers to generate shame or embarrassment may have been bullied themselves. Many parents and instructors are concerned about the game’s effects on teens because it is also used as a way of sexual flirting among teenagers.
