Artificial geographical features, or those created by people, can also be included. Biomes
All of the living and nonliving features that make up a community are classified as biomes. Plants, animals, and even the climate are all part of a biome. Ecosystems, which encompass the complete range of living creatures in the environment, can also be considered biomes. A biome’s inhabitants all have some characteristics in common. To live in the settings, the creatures and plants may have had to evolve over time.

A biome is something like a desert. The desert is known for being hot, arid, and dry. This means that all desert creatures and plants must adapt to the changing environment. In the arid conditions, many of them don’t require much water to grow.
Another example of a biome is the ocean. Oceans are home to a diverse range of creatures and plants that thrive in this type of habitat. The ocean biome includes whales, sharks, and seaweed.
The arctic region is another example of a biome. Because of the heavy snow and chill, anything that may exist in this location must be able to survive in extremely cold conditions.
Landforms
Natural features of the globe are known as landforms. They can aid in the creation of a biome by defining the area. The type of topography that surrounds the location determines the landforms. They might be big or little, and they can cover a lot of ground in a biome.
Landforms Examples
Water bodies are considered landforms. A landform would be a stream or river that passes through a plain. While the sea can be a sort of landform, it can also generate a biome. In fact, because the ocean covers the majority of the Earth’s surface, it is the most prevalent landform.
Landforms such as hills and mountains are examples of landforms. Plateaus are landforms that can be found among the hills and mountains. A plateau is a flat area at the summit of a mountain or hill. A valley, for example, can be found between mountains. The plains are the largest landform on the planet. Plains cover more than half of the Earth’s surface.
A glacier is a landform as well. Because a glacier might melt or float away, it can be difficult to classify it as a landform.
Geographical Features Man-Made
Humans create some geographical characteristics, and some people may not consider them to be true geographical features. Anything that a person has created qualifies as an artificial feature.
Human-made features include railroad tracks, roadways, and other modes of mobility. Other structures, such as buildings and bridges, are also included in this category. While these constructions are not natural geographical features, they are still impressive.
