They told me $60 and that the tow truck would be here in half an hour. 45 minutes later, the truck driver calls and says he is here. I go out onto my street and he is nowhere to be found. I asked him if he was on my street (voiced the street name), and he replied, “no. Why am I over here??” Then he hung up! I called him back and he said he was at the address where the car needed to be dropped off? He said, Hold on, I have to check with him..” and hung up on me again. I called the dispatcher, and they told me that he went to the wrong address and was now on his way. 1.5 hours go by and I call the dispatcher again. This time they don’t answer my call! It is 4:23pm, and still no tow truck. I give up! I have better things to do than waste my money and time on a company like this!

I was referred to tiffany at excel by her father who is a coworker of mine. The first time I used her to repair my vehicle her guys did a decent job. There were some issues with finish but she had them sort it out. I would have recommended her shop at this point. Fast forward and I get Ino another accident. My car was at her shop for over a month. When I got it back the car looked like hell. Drips and runs, tape lines with paint flakes poking out, the Window glass was reinstalled improperly. I had asked her to please shut windows and doors to protect the interior of my wife’s beautiful car. However the entire car both inside and under the hood were covered in a thick layer of paint/body dust. The colors of the paint scheme were not applied in the right places. I’ve now left the car with her twice to fix the problem and both times I’ve been without a car for weeks only to receive the car back in no better shape. Tiffany doesn’t take time to ensure quality control or even to ensure her customer gets what they need. I honestly feel that she doesn’t care about me. Because if she did, my car would be done right by now. But it is still wrong, I am unhappy, and I’m not about to leave my car at her shop yet another time. I will have to come out of pocket at another shop to get this fixed. Thanks for nothing tiffany.

My wife and I are muscle car fanatics and we found this 72 El Camino we buy it prior to taking it to Vince since it was in Parump (silly mistake) so we take it in to Vince and it needs new everything, tranny, water pump, radiator on and on. Now Vince is a muscle head too so thats the good news!! We got it back yesterday and its like a new car!! BEWARE! We were literally robbed by them. We were quoted $75 via phone with our roadside assistance, but Larry’s cancelled that ticket and claimed that we were “out having dinner in a restaurant”. We called them and opened a new ticket, but after they winched out vehicle, they quadrupled their quote to $300 and blocked our car with their truck, leaving us no choice but to pay the new price. We later found out that they charged BOTH the $75 and $300. They also said there’d be a $15 “credit card processing fee” which we refused and they agreed to waive. We then found out that they charged us the extra $15 anyways, despite the receipt stating $300. When we went to Larry’s, Larry was too scared to speak to us and his in the back while his workers told us he wasn’t there. Of course they weren’t bright enough to realize that we can *easily* get our money back from fraudulent charges via Visa and also file a police report. Complete crooks and not even good ones at that.

Never use them. GEICO called them to pick me up off of I-15. I was north of town. In a conferance call with Larry’s and GEICO, they told us they had to drop one and would be heading out. 2 Hours later I called to Larry’s and asked what was up. They said the drivers on a run and will be out in a hour to a hour and a half. So he took another tow and leave me and my wife on the side of the road in the desert? I called GEICO back and they sent another comapny out and they got there fast! I would never use Larry’s!

I took my car here because the dealership had a two week wait to have my car looked at and the engine light was on. I saw that Master Transmission was a AAA repair center so I felt comfortable taking my car here (especially since it was guaranteed). They misdiagnosed my problem saying I had to buy a new transmission which I did stupidly and it made it home only to have the same problem the next day with the engine light. I had to take it back to them repeatedly (between 4 and 5 times) for them to just do quick fixes instead of correct the real problem which they then said was electrical. I felt that they were just doing patch jobs to honor the AAA service guarantee which lasts a year. They also told me that they would refund my rental car expenses since it was their fault that I had to keep coming in but then would never get back to me with the reimbursement. This was the worst experience ever. I actually had to trade in my car because I never knew when the engine light was going to come back on and it was stressing me out (6+ months of this).

Besides the salesman being very helpful at this location two years ago everyone else that works there, service department along with the general manager Eric Ziegenbein they are AWFUL! I was attending a conference in Las Vegas after driving in from Southern California. Two days before I planned to drive back to San Diego, my X1 went into park twice lights and gave a transmission malfunction indication. I decided to bring the car into BMW of Las Vegas instead of trying to make the drive and risk being stuck somewhere in the high desert. Yanni and the BMW team correctly diagnosed that it was a battery issue and fixed the car in less than a day. I was glad that it was not a transmission issue. The battery had 5 years and 70,000 miles on it. It was due for a replacement. If I ever have BMW issues in las Vegas, I will go to BMW of Las Vegas.

Lifting Towing was by far the best company I could have asked for! My car was totalled in the parking lot at my work. Thankfully I wasn’t in it or I probably wouldn’t be here to write this review. Jaime arrived at the scene faster than I could have wished for. He gave me a ride to the shop he took my car to as well. All the while he was such a calming presence and educated me about what to expect with the insurance company, etc… He explained the possible damage and who I needed to contact. Someone who owns a business often times has to make difficult decisions that effect their customers. Case in point: A customer has left his car parked in such a manner that it needs to be towed. This is a difficult time for a business owner but don’t make it worse by using Tri State towing. The state should make these guys wear a bandana and peg leg plus carry a parrot so people would recognize them for what they are. Pirates! Bucaneers! Thieves! But don’t think for a moment that you’ll meet some charming Hollywood pirate. This guy is rude and obnoxiuos. While this guy is insulting your customers he is also running up ridiculous charges which he claims are legal but are much higher than his competitors. His reason for higher fees? “”the state says I can and I treat everyone the same, it doesn’t matter if I did anything to earn the fee, I charge it to everyone”” If you tow a car you might not loose a customer if they are treated curtiously and charged a fair price for recovery but if you use this guy you will loose that customer and probably end up in court too.

Do not go here!! A family member took his truck to get fixed & they initially told him $800-$1100.. a couple days after said $2000!..which was fine until they took 3 WEEKS to do the repairs ONLY to pay out all his cash and the truck still isn’t working..now they say he needs a new engine which he wanted to do in the first place, had they not inaccurately diagnosed and quoted the price, he would have gladly done that. He was cornered into letting them start the repairs since they told him since they started working on it, he owed them $500 labor already. so since he was already in it, he expected it all to be fixed. What”s most upsetting is that everytime we called in the mechanic was “on a service call”. Now they’ve paid over 2K, only to be in the same boat and broke now with no way to get to work because of these CROOKS! He rented a pickup for over 2 weeks and they kept saying “it’s almost done, but the mechanic is on a service call” ..so they cost him another $500 plus on that!

Really enjoyed every aspect about these guys. A buddy of mine from high school kept going on and and on about these guys until I finally took my car with no suspension there. Finally he wore me down and I went there. Boy am I glad I did. I went with my buddy, who hasn’t been there in maybe 4 years, and the owner recognized him immediately and remembered exactly what car my friend brought in. Went over prices and how long repairs would take and it was literally half the price as the other two shops I asked earlier that week. Four years later I went back with a different car and, to my surprise, he instantly remembered me and the car I had brought in before. If I didn’t live on the outskirts of town I would take my car there for my oil changes. Great honest guys here.

Coming from NY, it was a score finding Sam’s Auto Body & Paint Shop. A recommendation from Gary, owner of Italy’s Service for foreign cars where I bring my car for maintenance. I have a Red 1983, 911 Porsche Cabriolet, and was extremely concerned having any kind of touch up or repair work done. Having a 27 year old car, my number one concern was matching the paint color. I called and spoke with Tina at Sam’s Auto, who was professional, knowledgeable and pleasant. I made a appointment, received a written estimate for touch ups and minor repairs. Brought my car in and the work that was done, along with matching the color was perfect, that was August 2008. February 2010, I brought my car back to have the hood and around the headlights painted, and the rear side panel repaired and painted. Again the color of the hood, around the headlights and side panel matched perfectly. For the work that was done both times, the price was extremely fare and reasonable. 8/26/2015: I purchased my 2012 Ford Focus back in November and have had problems with the transmission 3 different times already. When it was first acting up, we took it in, no problems. Since then the transmission light has turned on twice in an 8 month span of getting it fixed. About 6 months ago I called in regarding this problem and tried scheduling, I called the service department and they transferred me straight to a voicemail of a service manager. I left a voicemail regarding the issue, my name, number and model of car and expected to receive a call back, never did I receive one. Just last week the light turned back on, after being transferred to around 5 different people they told me it suddenly got really busy and they would have a service manager call me back, I said that was fine and gave them my info. Not surprisingly, I still have yet to receive a call to schedule or even check up on the issue. On top of that, when I first got my car I had got a back up camera installed. Not too long after getting it the screen would say the camera was unavailable. I had taken it in for service not even a month after getting it, they said it worked for them but they would replace it. A few days later I got my car back with the new camera and IT STILL DOESN’T WORK! A complete waste of money. It really seems like with this dealership once you’ve bought a car you’re no longer their problem. It’s unfortunate that this dealership doesn’t value their customers more 10/21/2015: It has been only two months since I wrote my last review and had got my car fixed for the transmission issue. ONLY TWO MONTHS AND I AM HAVING THE SAME ISSUE AND AM HAVING TO TAKE IT IN FOR SERVICE ONCE AGAIN!!!!! Does no one understand this is wasting my time and money??? All Team Auto ripped me off. Went in for a diagnostic because of “check engine light.” Was told it would cost me $80. They said I needed a new computer system before they could determine the problem. There is no worse feeling in the world than going to start your car and have nothing but a couple clicks and a whir…had my car towed to the guys at 8699 W. Rome because i had my oil changed and car inspected by them not to long ago and had a great experience. After some digging they found my problem was that my a/c compressor had ceased and was preventing my car from starting, they had warned me it was going bad i just hoped it wouldn’t be so soon as car repairs can be expensive and unexpected. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly, Billy and the shop manager (i cannot remember his name) both called me numerous times to thoroughly explain every detail. My son had to have his starter replaced, and had his car towed to Sun Auto at 8699 W. Rome Las Vegas, NV 89149 on June 22nd 2011 and he was completely ripped off. When I saw the invoice the next day, called and tried to work it out with the manager Montgomery. They charged him $260.74 for a remanufactured starter for his 1998 Ford Mustang. They charged $144 for labor which I did not find unreasonable. I could not believe the price of the used starter. I called and talked to Montgomery, he was extremely rude and unreasonable. He told me that was a very good price for a used starter and that my son should have negotiated the price before the work and not after the fact. They took advantage of my 19 year old son, but I will not give this up. I told Montgomery that I would post this everywhere and he said that they would refute it where ever I post, so I canВ’t wait to see his rebuttal. I called Auto Zone, and they charge $109 for a brand new starter for a 1998 Mustang, and Montgomery shouted at me claiming Auto Zone sells inferior parts. So then I called Guadin Ford and they sell a brand new starter for $170 and about the same for installation. Unfortunately, they would rather alienate customers than try and work with you.
