Got an estimate the week prior for a minor bumper repaint job. Thought this to be a good locally owned business. Was told to bring my car in the following Monday, the job will take three days, and the bumper will be unbolted and painted apart from the car for a quality job. Dropped car as discussed Monday. Called once Tuesday evening to get status. Person answering did not know. Called Wednesday morning, person answering said “”car is just standing there””. Called 2:00 pm Wednesday and was told “”Car is done””. Came by at 5:15 pm to pickup car after returning my rental and was told “”car is not done””. They pulled the car in after 2 pm Wednesday and rushed the job… they masked the bumper, leaving it on the car, and repainted it. This resulting in clearcoat oversrpay on trunk, and a uneven masking tape tear-off line near the fender (never mind sanding out a minor uneven spot, they just painted right over the depression). After taking off $20.- for not taking the fender off, and another 23.- for an extra day rental car (minus additional insurance which they refused to pay) we ended up paying USD 325.00!!! – On top of that,Troy, referred to me as an “”irate”” customer. – Thanks Troy! – PS: You get a better paintjob at MACO (yes, I know how bad they are) for under USD 100.00, so don’t bother with Daniel’s to screw up your car.

Think back to all the times that your car was in need of a repair. I’m not talking about a small repair like a broken headlight or squeaky brakes. I’m talking about the kind of repairs that involve a tow truck because it’s so messed up that you can’t even drive it to the repair shop. Thinking back to all of those times that you had a mechanic make a MAJOR repair, were you ever charged anything less than $100? what about $50? $25? Unless Gary at Creative Auto Works did the repair, probably not. If you’re like me, you probably didn’t even know that mechanics COULD bill for less than $100, much less $24, which was my last bill. Anyone can take one look at me and instantly know that I am far from a car expert. They know they could have gotten away with telling me I needed a new transmission and it was going to cost $5,000. But they’re better than that. They’re smarter than that, because, you see, they know that by being honest and running an ethical business that happy customers like me will take the time to come on to sites like this and share my experience. Sure they could’ve ripped me off and made a fortune in one day, but people talk and years down the road there won’t be any more customers to rip off. On the other hand, people, like me, would drive 100 miles if they knew without a doubt they were going to be treated honestly and billed correctly and not have to worry and wonder if they’re paying for something that doesn’t need to be fixed, or paying way too much for something that does and if they should get a second opinion. I’ve been a customer of Creative Autoworks for 10 years now and I never have to worry about being taken advantage of, because Creative Autoworks is operated by good, honest people that understand that the most vital part of a car-repair shop’s success is to EARN and MAINTAIN their customer’s trust.

The guy in the front office was so incredibly rude, I came in for an estimate, he claimed I had to have a paper from my insurance company, called insurance and they said the guy was full of it all I needed was a general estimate, guy in the office then decided to talk about me to another customer.

Horrible! I got in a car accident and had my car towed here. A repair that should’ve taken 3 days took 3 weeks. When they finally called to say it was ready they were super difficult to work with and tried telling me it wasn’t ready. The customer service was horrible. The people were rude. They seemed to have no clue what was going on and didn’t know how to communicate. Having no car for 3 weeks was bad enough and when I finally got it back, it was even bloody fixed!! I took it to another shop to get fixed and payed another $200. DO NOT Waste your time here. Crap service and crap repairs.
