The majority of post offices are open Monday through Saturday and are closed on Sundays.
Some post office locations will only have their lobby open on Saturdays so that customers can access their mailboxes, but they will not be able to access other United States Postal Service services and products.
If a location is open on Saturday, it will most likely be open for a limited time. Monday through Friday business hours are typically 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., but Saturday business hours are typically between 11 a.m. and noon. Customers can still access the post office’s outside drop boxes after hours and on holidays if they need to mail something.
