According to the Transportation Security Administration’s official website, TSA.gov, renewing a Transportation Worker Identification Credential card costs $128. Cardholders who have a hazardous materials endorsement on their driver’s licence or who have a Free and Secure Trade card pay a reduced charge of $105.25, as of 2015.

TWIC cardholders must go through the same process as new applicants to renew their cards. TWIC cardholders can apply online or in person at a TWIC application facility. TWIC application facilities accept required paperwork and fees, collect fingerprints and facial photographs, and issue TWIC cards to applicants.

A TWIC card grants access to U.S. marine vessels and facilities to eligible workers.
