This is a five-minute recipe for producing Armor at home. Baby oil, Dawn dish soap, water, and a spray bottle are required for applying the mixture to the tyres and car interior. The important component is baby oil, and you can produce four spray bottles of DIY Armor with it. All with a single huge bottle of baby oil from the dollar store.
Fill an old spray bottle halfway with water, then add 1 cup of any brand of baby oil, 1/3 cup water, and 2 to 3 drops of Dawn dish soap. If you’re using a larger spray container and want to produce more, simply double the components and keep the proportions the same: For every 1 part baby oil, combine 1/3 cup water and 2-3 drops dish soap. Before using, give the bottle a good shake.
Never use your homemade Armor All on vinyl in the interior of your home. Instead, moisten a delicate lint-free cloth with the oil and rub it in a circular motion into the vinyl. Avoid putting the combination on a steering wheel, as it will make it slippery and dangerous. After you’ve applied the homemade Armor All to a surface, buff it with a clean, dry cloth to remove any excess oils.
